Pharmaceutical packaging technology: Oystar HMI

The OYSTAR Group was an internationally active production company for packaging machines and lines, whose operating terminals were implemented with different screen resolutions, display sizes and basic technologies. Within just one year, we were able to implement the project together with partners and set new standards with the new unified user interface.

Our task was to standardise the often very different user interfaces and to create an ergonomically optimised and attractively designed user interface for all family members. This complex HMI project covered the entire range, from analysis, operating concept and design of screens, controls and icons to the complete style guide and, in part, WPF implementation.

We worked on the project together with our former direct client GTI Control and another design office.

Modular interactive machine image

Our proven concept of modular interactive machine images was able to ensure a flexible and cost-effective implementation for individual project planning in special machine construction.

Creative aspects

The HMI will win you over with its clearly structured functional areas and a clear overall structure. Oystar-specific corporate design elements were cleverly integrated.

User-specific aspects

Main and sub-navigation are optimally structured according to tasks. Tasks to be completed are offered, for example, depending on the user level. In addition, neighbouring navigation points provide a hint to chronologically following activities. The user guidance in particular was implemented intelligently.
