What data will be processed?

General information

When you visit our web pages, personal data will also be processed.

In order for the pages to be displayed in your browser, the IP address of the terminal device you are using must be processed. In addition, further information about the browser of your end device is required.

Pursuant to data protection law we are obliged to also guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data processed with our IT systems.

The following data will be logged for this purpose:

• IP address of the calling computer (for a maximum of 7 days)
• Operating system of the calling computer
• Browser version of the calling computer
• Name of the retrieved file
• Date and time of retrieval
• Amount of data transmitted
• Referring URL

The IP address will be deleted from all systems used in connection with the operation of these web pages after 7 days at the latest. We can then no longer create a personal reference from the remaining data.

The data will also be used to correct errors on the website.

The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 letter f) of the GDPR. Our "interest" pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 letter f) is the operation of this website, the implementation of the protection objectives of confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.

Tracking

We use the Matomo tool to ensure optimal user-friendliness of our Internet presence. This is a so-called web analysis service. In order to record and analyse the use of our website and to ensure optimum usability, usage information is stored on our server for analysis purposes. This information is not passed on to third parties. Your IP address is only processed in a shortened form during this process and is thus made anonymous. If you wish to prevent the processing for analysis purposes, you can object to this at any time by clicking on the mouse. In this case a so-called opt-out cookie without usage data is stored in your browser, which means that Matomo does not collect any session data.

Attention: If you delete your cookies, this means that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and may have to be reactivated by you.

Purposes of processing personal data

We process the aforementioned data for the operation of our website and for the fulfilment of contractual obligations towards our customers.

In the event of inquiries from you outside of an active customer relationship, we process the data for purposes of sales and advertising. You can object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time.

Information provided voluntarily

If you provide data to us voluntarily, e.g. in forms, and this data is not required for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations, we will process this data assuming that the processing and use of this data is in your interest.

Receiver / transfer of data

Data processing outside the European Union

With the exception of the use of Google applications (Adwords, You Tube), we do not process your personal data in a so-called third country outside the European Union.

With regard to the use of Google applications, we would like to point out that the appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed by Google in the context of its participation in the so-called "Privacy Shield" and the measures taken by Google for data protection and data security.
